i thought it was even more exciting than last night's race, all the way up to and including the "big one" at the end. looked like hendrick domination for the longest time, then gibbs moved in, then fell out, drivers going from the back to the front to the back to the front again, near collisions every pit stop, battles at the front, the middle and the back... plus a free coke zero for everyone on kyle petty!!!

and rowdy takes gets his sixth cup win of the year, and his twelfth win across all three series.

sweetness. serious sweetness.

what did you all think of the race?

and why's it so quiet in here?

has everybody been stunned into silence? or is everyone busy trying to log on to cokezero.com to claim their free drink?

;-)

  1. jr got shuffled back because they knew he had the car to beat i thought the ending was great because matt kenseth was behind kyle while kurt was behind carl edwards

ps good job reporting my question for no reason :]

  2. it was c**p kyle bush sucks that was jr's race

  3. I just like the 8th place.  Oh he is pouring it on this year...  Go Jr...  HAAHAAHEEHEE

  4. I thought it was one of the most exciting races of the year.

but i was definitely expecting Gordon to battle Rowdy at the end, it was a big shock seeing him spin out.

i was also wishing Jr. would've been up there as well.

but Carl & Kyle was still a great battle.

I thought it was funny how Kenseth had been pushing Kyle & Kurt was pushing Edwards though.

    I loved this race!

Congrats to Rowdy on the 6th win of the season!

& most likely there's still more to come!

    =]

  5. It was a great race in my opinion.  Thanks for reminding me about the free coke zero....bbl

  6. Was a very eventfull race really, just kinda sad how the ending got so messy as it did.

    Congrats to Busch.

  7. That was by far one of the most exciting races this year.

An edge of your seat nail biter, I couldn't watch the final laps, I covered my eyes, and the fact that I was peeking through my fingers still counts as an "I couldn't watch" race.

I can admit this much "A few too many" you're right, Jr. had the car to beat all night.

(jumping up and down with excitement over Rowdy's win)

Tom Cruise, he's not a question reporter.

  8. What an awesome race and TNT did an awesome job! I was on the edge of my seat all night almost. Cheering for Jr watching the near misses. Kyle! What a save! Congrats on the win...  I saw Jr make two mistakes that gave the race away as he clearly had the best car. (He pit too close to the wall, and he tagged Casey's car with his right front that screwed up his handling) What a great race, it had it all.

  9. I thought it was one of the best races or the year. My boy Jr. seemed to have develop his usual case of leprosy in the final laps, but it was still a fine race. I just wish Jr. could have found some help. But Kyle won on skill, no denying that. And what a class act Kyle Petty is. Man that's crazy and awesome at the same time. Too bad coke zero is just awful.
