What did you think of the film ; THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST?

I loved it!  I found myself not even realizing there were subtitles.   I ended up sobbing, and didn't expect to.  I also realized that it was not any one group (Jews nor Romans) that caused his death - it was more of a "mob mentality" that did it.  I found that to be quite enlightening - the fact that I thought of it that way.  I have always been a follower of Jesus, but watching this movie brought me closer to Him.  And, even those who do not believe can at least get a sense of what this man was put through, whether they come away following Him or not.

you're a little late to be asking this question... anyway ill never watch it again not because of the goryness or anything but that the whole film was in hebrew or whatever language that was... i hate watching a movie that i have to read subtitles the whole way through because i spend more time reading them then watchin the movie.

It was well done, could really see how christians would connect to it, being able to see the actual suffering.

Otherwise it didnt convert me or anything

Excellent Movie. I think non-believers should watch it and hopefully they will find Christ.

I've never seen it, but I think I would cry, even though Jesus did a wonderful thing.  It is SO gorey, too, it's like R rated/18 in the UK.
