What did you think of the nns race at chicagoland?

obviously, i was pleased with the outcome with kyle hitting lucky number thirteen in the win column across all three series - now only one short of harvick's record of fourteen for wins across series - and at only just over halfway through the season.

but even with my joy at my boy winning, i didn't think it was a great race. they got spread out fairly quickly after restarts and stayed that way - for a long time given the fact that there were no cautions in over the last half of the race. very little two wide, and much less three-wide.

what did you think?

I thought it was one boring race!  Hopefully tomorrow will be much more exciting!  I wonder if the cup drivers should stay outta the Nationwide, would that help?

I was happy with the win for Kyle but it wasnt one of the better races in the Nationwide series this year. I hope its not a sign of tommorows race.

Kyle won! It's great if you're a fan, obviously the people above me aren't, and so they are hating the fact that he's such an amazing driver. The race was boring, but 3 (Busch, Hamlin, and Vickers) of my favorites were in the top 5. I guess Kyle should have slowed down to make it look more exciting for these guys that hate on his talent.

I didn't like it much. Right after the start I thought we were in for the best race of the season then bottom fell out, Elliott went two laps down because of that caution and the rest was a snoozefest. Congrats on your driver though, wish mine could get one. :-(

It was a yawner, I'm glad Brad got 3rd, I was monitoring IRL Quals in Nashville atleast that kept me awake... I hope the Cup race is better tomorrow night..

I was happy with the outcome but the race wasn't all that great. I was actually thinking of going to it since Joliet is about 10 miles west of me but I decided not to since everyone I called that had their tickets up on craigslist wouldn't answer.

Im awaiting a news conference this week to reveal Toyota's cheating ways as NASCAR took 9 engines from the NNS cars to take back to the R&D Center in Charlotte.  Other than that, it was a pretty boring race.

to bestanswer: I'm not saying that Kyle Busch isn't a great driver, he is a good driver.

I think NASCAR would be a better sport if Kyle Busch was no longer in it. He just needs to fall of the face of this earth.

By the way, the race was BORING!! No wrecks really, no nothing, long green flag runs.... I about fell asleep!

I think it was kinda boring. But can someone show me a sport that never has boring events occasionally? No way it's never gonna be boring unless it's fixed. Whenever they race on a mile and a half track, I prepare myself for a possible snooze fest as they seem very conducive to the type race we saw tonight. People have been talking about it for years but I still enjoy them.
