  1. Powerful and Effective: "I want somebody who takes care of Barney Smith, not Smith Barney."

If independents, Conservative Democrats and Working Class Republicans can see that Economic Issues are more important than emotional bigotry, perhaps Obama can win the election.

I feel these differences should be considered for anyone on the fence:

    * Obama's plan on taxation would put more money into the hands of the bottom 80% of taxpayers while increasing Taxes on the Wealthiest and Corporations (actually a return to the more fair Clinton tax tables.)

    * Obama would be much better on protecting a Woman' Right to Choose, on Labor Rights and would not stack Regulatory agencies with Corporate pushovers.

    * Obama is more intelligent and informed on environmental and energy issues.

    * Obama would not Privatize Social Security (a giveaway to Wall Street) like McCain has promoted.

    * Obama would more likely use diplomacy as a first resort instead of military action.

    * Infrastructure, Healthcare and Education would benefit more from an Obama administration.

"There has been a lot of criticism of the Bush administration as extremist, if not at the far extreme of radical nationalism, and McCain is probably in the same territory. Obama very likely would move back to the center right where the Clinton administration was."

  2. They have seen the light! As long as one's life is going strong, it doesn't matter what party one votes for. When the actions of the party, not only take your job away and leave you with nothing, and to add insult to injury, give tax breaks to the companies who leave you high and dry - it's time to vote for the opposition!

I never understood why working people could vote themselves out of jobs!

Nafta = North American Trade Agreement, it has nothing to do with outsourcing  to China and India!

  3. I thought they were losers.

  4. They gave very detailed reasons why we need Obama and Democrats back in the White House.

Too much has been taken away from the middle class.

  5. Why is he bitching about losing his job to foreigners?  I thought Bill Clinton pushed NAFTA through.

That guy is utterly confused and not being honest.  As the economy changes and progresses, manufacturing jobs are being replaced by service-oriented jobs.  It is unfortunate that some people cannot keep up with the changes, but this is a natural progression of an economy.

The same trend happened to the agricultural industry.  In the 1930's 30% of the population was employed in the agricultural sector--now it is 2%.

It was an emotion filled speech, not backed by a  logical argument on why the Republican party caused him to lose his job.

Obama has some wonderful band-aids, but no real cure. He only addresses the problems.  I have to see him address why the problems were created in the first place.

  6. What an AMAZING and fantastic video.  I am with Barney on this one.  My tuition fund went from 40,000 dollars to under 900.00 dollars in less than a year...and beleive me, it was diversified.  The only stock that held its ground was the Budweiser stock, because Americans are drinking themselves into a stupor.

s***w Bush, and s***w McMoron.  I hope they rot in h**l.
