What did you think of this years Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Olympics?

OMG they were the best ever they were amazing.

I loved the opening better though

My favorite moment was michael phelps 7th gold medal finish where he almost didnt win it it was one one hundreth of a second.

The opening and closing ceremonies was beautiful...simply put.

My favorite Olympic moment...boy that's hard. Jason Lezac pulling ahead and winning the men's 4x100m relay is number one on the list. The US Men's basketball team winning, the men/women volley ball team winning....and I love that the US won the medal count...China got more gold...but we still won the overall count.

My favorite is the athletes at the closing ceremonies. Everyone happy and celebrating mixed in as one group instead of different nations.  It was like a graduation.  Very festive.  A tradition from 1956 Melbourne games as a suggestion from a 17 Australian Chinese kid: John Ian Wing.

i LOVED the opening ceremony. it was so over the top and beautiful!

i havent seen the closing yet though. its not on at my place 'til 8pm i think (its 7:30pm) i cant wait for it though. although i dont want it to end.

this is kind of my first olympic. i watched it the last time it was on (4 years ago) but i was too young to understand anything.

when michael phelps was named the best olympian. i'm just in love with michael!!

dude, i think aaron peirsol and something lochte (sorry forgot his first name) lives near me. (i think it was those two. i just know it was two swimmers and phelps and lezak arent one of them, for sure.) sorry i thought i'd just add that part.
