  1. I got totally grossed out and shut my eyes, I still look away when she does that to him when I see it in reruns.

  2. it gave me chills. when she brought out the sledge hammer, i was like omg is she really going to do that....

  3. I screamed!!  That was the most disturbing thing I have ever seen,, Im not a big Horror movie fan,, and it was a random flick of the tv,, and I saw Kathy Bates and stopped right at that moment.  Wrong place to see the movie.

  4. OUCH !!!

  5. I took notes.

  6. It was one of the best acting scenes in a thriller, Kathy Bates was superb.

She scene was almost believable from an acting standpoint and all I could think was, "that has got to hurt" and the "I love you" part after made the scene it even more creepy.

  7. I read the book first and of course your imagination can do so much more than anyone can put on film..  No matter how graphic or what superb acting job they do it just doesn't compare to what you create in your head.  I thought it hit home.  It was disturbing.  It wasn't however as gruesome as I had previously read in the book.  The discription could not be transfered to film.  There were a lot of things that didn't translate to film although it was one of the best movies translated from book to film I've read/seen.
