Question:

What didvisions are there in Hunter/Jumper horse shows?

i know there is special begginner, begginner, and limits but i dont know how high they jump and any other divisions, so if you could please answer like this

Ex:

Special Begginner-crossrails

Begginner-??"

Limits-??'

??-??'

  1. In my area, michigan, this is what we have.

    xpoles--18"

    beginner-2'

    Novice-2'3 or 2'9

    Primary-2'3

    Intermediate-2'6

    Lows-2'6

    limits 2'6-2'9 or 3-3'3

    the higher hights are for the MHJA rated shows. the others are for like schooling shows.

    Beginner (w/t/c)

    Novice (w/t/c crossrails)

    Short Stirrup (w/t/c 1'9'' courses)

    Low (w/t/c 2'3'' courses)

    Open (w/t/c 2'6'' courses)

    Jumper (w/t/c 2'9'' courses)

    All of those classes are hunter except for Jumper. I  am unsure of the way things are in your area. You might not be able to get solid answers as the hunter/jumper circuits are different in each area.
