Question:

What diets have worked for you.?

I'm desperate to loose way fast, but in a healthy and more importantly for me, easy way..

Can you tell me what diet(s) have worked for you that have given you good results, and how did you exactly followed them..

I'm thinking like Slim Fast, Herbalife, Atkins, etc..

But if you have another one please tell me.. and also if you know if pills like Hydroxicut or others really work..

  1. None of them work in the long-term.  In the short-term they do, but you'll gain it back because your on a "diet."  Get out of the "diet" mode and change your lifestyle.  Long-term weight loss requires complete lifestyle change which means your switching to eating healthy for good, not temporarily and getting rid of any vices or issues that hurt a change to a healthy lifestyle.


  2. Don't diet, because diet implies that you're going to stop doing it one day.  You need to change your eating and exercise habits.

    I joined Weight Watchers and took off 54 lbs.  I got cocky and stopped going to meetings a year ago and put 20 of it back on.  I'm going back on Tuesday to recommit.  I've already started walking again and am feeling better.  

    If you're having a hard time committing or sticking to it, find a buddy who will exercise with you and help keep you honest.  Also, once you start learning about what foods are and are not healthy, you will find out that wheat bread and steamed rice aren't all that bad and that you can fit anything in as a regular part of a healthy eating plan.  That doesn't mean you can eat anything you want, but that you can have those treats that used to make you feel guilty.  

    Weight Watchers will help you to sort that all out.  They sure did for me, which is why I am going back.  

  3. all pills are poison,,,, drink 1 gallon of water daily,you will lose 5lb of water weight if u doit like a week...

    my diet:

    eat 2 bowls of oatmeal in morning, and eat 3 cup of ramen/noodle soups a day all the time..

  5. i've never really needed to diet, but DON'T USE PILLS.

    because once you stop taking them, you gain EVERYTHING back.
