What difference does the size of a wakeboard have on the performance?

I have a 96' eight ball wakeboard, and it is 141cm. I looked at a chart, and this board is designed for 200+ lb riders. My question is... will this effect the performance of how I ride? I weigh close to 115lbs. Will it effect how much control I have over the board?

i disagree with the fin thing. ride without, the little fins are molded in anyway. your landings will be easier on a too big a board, you may suffer in the agility and manerverability side of the ride.

Me and my mom use the same board and with have a about a 50lbs wiegh difference. she can control the board fine but im pretty small and have alittle difficulties so i think it would help if you get a size smaller if you can find it. also makesure you have the fins on it will help alittle with your control
