What different types of jobs can a Residential Counselor do?

I'm interested in social work, counseling, that type of thing....I found "Residential Counselor" as one type of job -- but I'd like more info on it --- THANKS :)

Residential counselor is an entry level job usually working in group home for a population (psychiatric, developmental disability, foster youth).  A person with a BSW could easily do this job.
