What digi boxes work in telford?

my old digi box is a daewoo. which stopped working today. Daewoo say that old Daewoo boxes with setpal are no longer supported by the sutton coldfield transmitter. I dont want to buy another setpal type box. Has anyone bought a new digi box recently in telford that works well? .. or any other advise. thanks

Any new digibox should work with any transmitter anywhere in the country. The setpal protocol is no longer supported, however any box on the shelves with the Freeview logo on it should now be ok if bought from reputable dealers. The following boxes are affected:

Digifusion: FVRT100, FVRT145, FVRT150, FVRT200, FRT101

Sony: SVRS500 PVR

Thomson:  DHD4000 PVR

Setpal based models (include Novapal, Triax and Labgear branded STBs and the Daewoo SV900 Integrated Digital VCR (IDVCR)

Inverto IDL3000, IDL7000PVR
