What digital camera should i get? NEED HELP FAST?

I have to replace my digital camera and i have questions about what camera i should get....

how many megapixels? what brand? is there one that you would suggest for me to get or not to get? what carmera do you have or someone you know and do you/them like it?? etc.... thank you...

I strongly recommend Olympus Camedia C-180, 5.1MP, 4 x Digital Zoom.

This is a low range camera and it is easy to operate and produces clear image.  It only costs about S$200 plus.

I have used this camera for 3 years and I am still using it now.

It is not necessary to buy a charger as I do not use a charger . I use Panasonic Oxyride batteries which is very powerful and can take 200 over shots with just 2 batteries.  What I mean is this camera uses 2 Pcs AA Battery.

Don't buy cameras from Walmart. They're very cheap.

I ended up returning mine in a matter of 2 weeks.

Hi there!

I highly recommend the Casio Exilim cameras. A good friend of mine has one with roughly 7 megapixels, and she loves it!

It takes really high quality pictures, records excellent movies, and it has "YouTube capture Mode". This means that you can record movies in the format needed for Youtube. Then you can share all your fun moments! Some of the newest Casio's also have an Itunes capture mode, which means you can record movies in one of the formats compatible with Itunes, and also any video-capable Ipod. The Casio cameras are also fairly reasonably priced, especially for all the great stuff you get!

Brands to Avoid:1. Panasonic- overpriced

                              2. Kodak- cheap and nasty; known to die in less then a year

                              3. Fujifilm- again, cheap and nasty

Why not consider the Canon A720 IS? 6X optical zoom, 8 megapixels, has an image stabilizer for shaky hands.

TriState Camera has it for $194-+ shipping.
