If I wanted to take photos from a moving vehicle and possibly low light ones, which digital camera would you buy?. I Don't want a DSLR, they're too bulky. One that takes AA or AAA batteries would be nice...Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. how about the canon powershot s5IS, it's the step up from the bestselling canon powershot s3IS, it has alot of features which make it stand out from the crowd, such features are:

    1) it's size n' weight- the canon powershot s5IS isn't that heavy, the only thing that may make it feel heavy in the least is the four double a batteries which it takes. That's something you wanted.it looks like a DSLR, but it doesn't have the weight of a dslr's components. You can keep this camera in your purse, it'll only make it a little heavy.

    2) Resolution- most point and shoot cameras have an average of six megapixels, and when you take the pictures you aren't that happy with the results. However, this isn't a problem on canon's s5IS camera. It has eight megapixels, which is alot for the price to pay. You can blow up pictures to almost any size.

    3) Hot Shot Adapter-  it's one of only a handful of digital point and shoot cameras that can support an external flash. This is a great feature to opt for in a camera, You can take pictures in the dark, and illuminate more of a scene

Here's the link for the cameraaa:

it's only 339$, which really isn't bad for all of the manual controls, and image stabilization, and all of that, you really couldn't wish for a more up-to-date camera.
