  1. Pizza (its where it was invented)

    Pasta (spagetti, linguini, tortillini)

    Italian Bread

    Italian Cheese

Its mainly carbs in case you cant tell

  2. Pasta, Pizza, and sea food

  3. at home, pasta, lots of it,followed by vegetables and any sort of meat, bread and cheese are always present on the table....if you go to a restaurant, then you have the antipasto(starter),usually a salad, then first(primo),which is always pasta, then second and something to go with(secondo e contorno),which is meat and vegetables,or only meat,or only veggies, and then desert(dolce)..followed by coffee....they eat a lot,but it's a very healthy diet..if you have a look, most italians are not fat at all.....

  4. We usually have three kinds of serving per lunch/dinner.

Antipasto: bread with butter or little things just to start out.

Primo: meaning first, usually pasta but it can also be rice.

Secondo: meaning second, it can be meat, fish and veggies.

And we may eat dessert or fruit in the end.

Spero che aiuti! (Hope it helps)

  5. Unlike what we see in America, Italians are very healthy eaters...lots of fish, chicken, veal, some beef and pork, smoked and cured ham, tons of fresh vegetables and fruits, and of course pizza, bread, cheese, pastas, rice and polenta. Wine, mineral water and gelato.

  6. PASTA

    PIZZA

    DUH!!!!!!!!!

  7. italian food.

  8. Diets will change a fair bit too depending on the region eg more tomato based recipes used in Sicilia

  9. carbohydrates! loads of them haha

pizza, pasta, spagetti bolognaise :P mmm

    panacotta

n probly alot of the things you eat in your country

  10. They have meat with every meal if they can afford it, pasta being a side dish, unlike in America.

  11. Italians on the whole eat much more fresh "real" food than we do. There are some fast food places in big cities but generally you only find the american tourists in there.

Breakfast is always something sweet and small. Cereal, pastry, bread with nutella spread and a capuccino either made at home or a bar (coffee shop). They do not eat eggs or potatoes or anything like that.

Even in bigger cities people tend to come home for lunch and it tends to be the biggest meal. Usually a pasta dish.

Dinner is usually meat, salad, bread. Fruit for dessert.

  12. Don't expect the pizza to taste like it does in America.

I think it tastes much better in Italy and it never made me feel hung over like pizza hut does.

If memory serves it wasn't drowned in cheese. I ate it at a restaraunt that had world war 2 era bullet holes in the walls hahaha
