  1. look to the NE.  i saw 44 this morning and am in Lockport, NY near Niagara Falls.  i watched from 230am till 5am.  most were big and bright this year!!  this is a great time for you to view them (between 2-5am) and if im not mistaken, you should be able to see them better out your way, than out East where i am.  ENJOY, hope you see alot!

  2. They're not concentrated in one spot.  Like someone else said, they come from the NE, but I some some straight up, some due east, and some due north.  Just get away from lights and keep looking.

  3. in the general up direction.

  4. Up.  Really. You want to look about 45 degrees from the radiant - Perseus. With Perseus fairly near the horizon all night, looking nearly straight up gives you a view of the most sky.  I mostly sat with the Moon to my back, and saw 16 Perseid and 9 non-Perseid meteors last night.

While the peak is over, expect the Perseid Meteor Shower to continue to the weekend.

  5. Northeast. If you can locate the constellation Perseus, that's where the radiant (or apparent origin) of all the meteors will be.
