Now, I'm only 13, but lately I've been thinking a lot about what I want to do with my life. My top three choice are probably a real estate agent, an actress/film director, or a politician. Here's some of my accomplishments/qualities (oh, and all the accomplishments are within the past 4 years):

~I've starred in 6 plays, and been in countless numbers of skits

~I've directed 1 musical and several short movies

~I've written tons of plays and short movie scripts

~I'm very good with people

~I move around a lot, so I'm not unfamiliar to the whole house-hunting ordeal, and I actually enjoy the whole moving proccess

~I've been voted most likely to become president for 3 years running

~I've been on Student Council for 3 years, as well as Vice President for 2

~I'm a straight-A student

~I hate math, but I love History, Science, and Reading

~In 6th grade I participated in National History Day, and made it to the National level (got 1st place in my state)

~I'm very short - 4' 8" (if that matters)

~I work well with people

~I volunteer as much as I can at the zoo, nursing homes, etc.

~I love helping

~I'm a very determined young lady, and I succeed in almost everything I do

~I'm very creative

~I'm very organized

Umm... that's about it. What direction do you think I should focus towards? My dad says I'd be best as a politician. My mom says I'd be best as a film-maker. My brother says I'd be best as a real-estate agent. I would be happy with any of these. What do you think? Any other career options would be helpful too. Thanks so much!

  1. I say go with a real estate agent. I've been thinking about that too. My best friend's cousin's friend's girlfriend is a real estate agent and she makes A LOT of money. My friend went to her house and she has like a collection of nice cars(BMW's, Mercedes, etc...). My friend says her house is BIG. She even bought her boyfriend a 2008 BMW.

A real estate agent can set her own hours(If you're a morning person obviously you're going to want to open earlier and close later vice versa with being a night person). If you're an actress won't always have work to do. Which ever one you feel more comfy with though.

  2. Umm,, my mother is an inactive real-estate agent and unless you are one of the big time agents its not as luxurious as it seems. You get paid commission and if the markets not doing to well, then expect not to get much money. I'd say being a politician would be your best bet. Or,, you could do all three.

Like be a politician full time, real estate agent part time ((my mother did)), and in your free time make movies.

But your best bet would be researching each career and find out which would do you best.

  3. I reallllly think you sound like you should be a actress/and or a film director.  Most of your interests and things you are good at lead to that career!  Good luck.
