  1. Since free markets provide far greater service at lower prices for more people I would go with A.

Ask yourself this would you live in government built homes or privately built homes, government run restaurants or privately owned restaurants.  The stuff the government does now it doesn't do well or economically.

  2. We need to get McCain in office, that will do it. He has already said Romney will be on his cabinet, and Romney gave us in Massachusetts health care.

It's state funded, sort of. If work offers it, you have to take it, if you can't afford it, the state helps you pay, or pays for all of it. If work doesn't offer it, you can get MassHealth, based on your income.

At the end of the year, you MUST have insurance, if not you are penalized on your taxes.

So basically there is no reason for any Mass resident to not have health insurance, thanks to former Governor Romney.

  3. I like France's system.

They have it set up like Social Security/MediCare.

You pay in what you can, and they provide you based on your needs.

Everyone can get it, and it's free for children and college students.

Those who are better off help those who are worse off.

    That's how it should be.

  4. A.

Government controlled health care usually fails. Premiums go up and coverage goes down. One example I can give off the top of my head is that dentists are so hard to find or so expensive in the UK that people have resorted to pulling their own teeth.

If they try and institute that c**p here I will stay with what I got. My coverage will be better than the gov. controlled c**p.

  5. Encourage more free market health care solutions. I really think the last thing we need with a growing deficit is to fund anymore programs.

  6. Step one: Elect Barack Obama for president.

Step two: Ensure that everyone has access to medical insurance.

Step three: Punish insurance companies that wrongfully  deny claims.

  7. A whole-hearted "A"

  8. Only one way to go, Single Payer.

  9. I have lived both systems.  Born in the UK and now married to US citizen.  I am now an American too.

I have a great problem with the Healthcare in the USA.  It is too expensive, insurance does not cover everything.  you have to pay at least 20% which can be enormous.  I have had cancer therefore they refuse me insurance (don't say they don't because as soon as I mention I had cancer 19 yrs ago they end the conversation).  So if you have a previous condition your chances of getting insurance are low unless you work for a company.   I think the insurance companies are making money on people's misery and that is awful.   Who needs the middle man.   I personally ask the Doctors the price of every procedure I have and I know I get a lower price because of that.  I pay for all my medical care and I am not rich.  I also keep away from the doctor unless it is absolutely necessary.   I don't know the answer but there has to be a way ordinary people can afford to go see a Doctor.
