  1. PJ is this u man its anthony-well if ur not pj haha

hes in the same postion as u

there both good bikes just 2 stroke 125 are more pipier and

you need to maintain it like change its oil alot and has power bands but i like power bands -but 4 stroke

250 are fast to just less pipi dont have to have well mantanice either-so i suggest the 250 even thouht

i like powerbands-and i very much agree with that other guy

just what your looking for in a bike? thats the question cuz defintly u can fit on both bikes

  2. i would go with the 250 4 stroke

twostrokes have to be rebuilt alot sooner then 2 strokes

since your a beginer i would stick with 4 strokes because the 2 stroke has top end power and no low end and just starting off they tend to be a little more tricky to control

"power bands" arent a part or an accesory or somthing they add to the bike

a power band is  the rpm range the engine makes power

on a four stroke it makes power through the whole rpm band ..

a two stroke only does at higher rpms thats why you feel the kick when you hit the "power band"on a two stroke bike

  3. depends on what your style is me personally would get a 250 sice your pretty big and only thirteen you will grow pretty fast. a 125 was made for a 180 or lighter person so you will weigh more than that in the future probably. Also, with racing a 4 stroke is alot more work in the long run. So if you you have someone to service it or if you know how definetly go for the 4 stroke (crf250) If not cr250 or yz250.

  4. As you say you are only a beginner so the 4 stroke 250cc would be a lot easier for you to race successfully than to start out racing a 2 stroke 125cc.  Especially if the 2 strokes are in the same section as the 4 strokes which is quite often the case.

The 125cc 2 strokes are slowly being raced less and less so you would be up against more 4 strokes than 2 strokes and quite often the 4 strokes win on the day as they have more even power against a 2 stroke ( of course that is not always the case as a lot depends on the rider).  But again for a beginner you would have all the power you need on either, but having more even power makes it a bit easier for a beginner.

Since you are having trouble deciding is there anybody you know with either a 2 stroke or a 4 that you could have a try and ride on?

Then you could see how it feels.
