What dirt bike size is perfect?

What dirt bike is perfest for a boy who is 5'11". 125?250?.. or what size?

i woudl go 250  for your size

now do you want a 2 stroke or 4 stroke

i prefer 4 strokes

125 or 250 has very little bearing on your height as they are both pretty much the same size.

I think it would come down to more about your fitness level and style of riding.

125 2 strokes are quick but you have to be bang on gear changes all the time and pretty fit, they only like being thrashed and if you cant give them enough of a caining they get a littled oiled up.

250 2 strokes could arguably be the best bikes ever made but a bit of an animal to ride.

250 4's are so called confidence boosters and you can be a little lazier with the gear changes on them yet still be quick.

Get something that suits your ability then set up the suspension for you weight. Look up race sag etc.

If he has little or no experience, I would go with a 125.

A 250 would be a little too much.

A CRF250 is a four stroke bike and would be easier to handle than a 2 stroker. Its got excellent power and a very good all-around dirt bike.
