Question:

What distance should i run?

i always thought i was a mid distance runner , but i have recently joined an athletics team and am finding i do better on the sprints , i am short and have an athletic build, i think the sprinting may be a side effect of playing football for 7 years and using an exercise bike but i still think im mid distance, any help?

  1. Well since you are already a sprinter from doing football, you should not pursue long distance. Maybe some of the middle distances which require a late kick at the end to have a good race. Try the 400 meter dash. Aim for around 65 seconds.


  2. Do what you think is best for you.  

  3. Run to California and back from Maine. That would be MY goal.

  4. at least running a mile a day should be good

    try makeing it in 8-9 minutes

    ive ran it in 7min. and 47 sec. =]
