ive been trying to get onto xbox live and its not working. i need a dns server

  1. it is machine dependant we cant tell you call 1800-4-my-xbox or tech support for the router your using


  2. You can call your broadband/DSL internet provider and they will give you the IP numbers needed to connect, should be 4 sets of numbers.

    Then follow the directions in the book on connecting manually.

    After connecting for the first time, I've had no problems getting on line since.

    PS The 'dns server' is your internet provider's IP.
