What do 12 year old girls want for their b-days?

my niece is going to have her b-day in few weeks and I have no idea what to get her she is not a girlie girl and likes dancing please give me some ideas because i want to get her something really special. thanx

At that age you can just ask her for a few suggestions.  Or every girl loves to shop so you can give her something real small like bubble bath or shower gel with a card and then a gift card to the local mall.  That is always much appreciated.  They LOVE shopping, and you can even take her to the mall to spend some extra special time with her cool aunt :-)

Depends to whats she is into. Some girls aren't conformists and are not into the Hollister/Disney fad. I would go for gift card, those are always handy.

abercrombie & Fitch - Hoodies, maybe jeans.

Last year (my 12th birthday) I wanted make-up, books, if she likes dancing maybe get her something to do with the type of dancing she likes doing, if it's ballet get her a ballet costume or shoes, if it's ballroom then get her a pretty dress or something. :) Hope it helps, and good luck!
