What do 6-10yr old boys like?

Yeah. Cars/Motorcycles, Dinosaurs, Stink Bombs (but good grief, DO NOT provide them with). Right now some of the fads with kids are Transformers and Iron Man. Anything to do with comic books, super heroes, explosives, creepy slimy things, or sports.....generally you'll be able to relate to him with at least one of the above listed. Really, it depends on the kind of boy he is. I know kids who love action movies and dinosaurs but hate sports. Ones that love sports but action movies overwhelm them. Or loud noises from cars scare them but they love playing with toy motorcycles. It just depends.

My 6 y/o son loves the x box and those nurf guns. We also just bought a game, Dragonology, (it's a board game) and he loves it. He also likes Sorry, and Uno.

my son at 6-8 was huge into dinosaurs. Not really cars tho. Now he is 9 and he loves PS2 (all that stuff) getting back into Lego, ninja turtles (tho growing out of them) reading (spends a lot of time doing this) he loves swimming, gymnastics and scouts. He likes to cook as well

My son is six, and he loves vehicles, dinosaurs, toy animals (plastic more so than stuffed), and any kind of art supplies (the messier the better).
