Question:

What do 6 - 8 year old girls like to read?

My daughter is almost 7 and loves reading. Her favourite books at the moment are the "Rainbow Magic" series by Daisy Meadows. I'd like to find out what other girls her age are reading so that I can have some ideas of other books to buy.

The books she brings home from school are lovely but easy. They hold no sustained interest for her - she can read both books in a 15 minute sitting and it is very rare that they contain any challenging words.
