  1. Oh I thought you meant Jimmy Stynes and Sean Wight ( even though he was techincally a Scot) ...

Guess I am showing my age .. ;)

I think they are great incidently :)

  2. Kennelly's a great player, Clarke - good debut game for Collingwood others not sure about..But how do clubs get them?  Is it through the draft?  The Crows should get a couple over...

  3. I haven't got a problem with Irish players, they have turned out to be pretty good players and have generally adapted pretty well to AFL.

  4. Kennelly has proved himself and Martin Clarke has had a very good first game have you seen footage of M. Clarke balancing and passing football from foot to foot without touching the ball very clever and who can forget Jim Stynes won a brownlow medal, don't know much about the others you mentioned

  5. I think that they are doing really well in and have really flourished in our Aussie game... If I remember right Kennelly has had a few knee problems, but hey, from what I have seen he is great. Clarke had an awesome debut last week I think it was...He played magnificently. I look at the Irish footballers as inspirational as some of them have played for barely a year but their skills are amazing. I have no problem what so ever with Irish playing AFL, they are great.

  6. Kennely is going good i rekon. Hes got a premiership medal and i think he is really good.

setanta Ohailpin is really good. Hes a defender i think. he reaLly surprised me too .

  7. Kennelly is established with the Swans, and a great player.

Clarke had a good debut with the Pies, and has great skill - he`s only ever played 14 games and already playing senior footy.

Setanta is going good for the Blues, in time I thibnk he could be a great full back. He is a huge intimidating boy, hate to meet him in a dark alley

yes, I`m surprised it took so long for Aussie teams to start recruiting from Ireland.
