depends on the accent, I hate Welsh Accents they mumble all the time, I like Northern England and Scottish and Irish accents the best, Southern England sounds like snobs

I LOVE IT  I have a friend in Chicester  England her name is Jackee and her accent even comes out in IM's .. lol ...I love all shades of the British Accent. I love all things british.

British English is Charming.  It makes me realize how badly we (Americans) bastardized this beautiful language.  Compare the southern states to London's dialect.  We destroyed this beautiful language they gave us.

EBONICS (Rap music etc.) is making it even worse by ignoring all language rules, improper pronounciations, slang  etc.  Kids are immitating this and pretending that they are uneducated thugs from the ghetto making it worse.

It's charming! I wouldn't say it's snooty... it just sounds really formal all the time. I have a friend from London and the the first time I heard him speak I couldn't stop smiling. It's not that his accent sounded bad or anything (I really like) it's just everything he said sounded so fancy and charming to listen to.

Man, I wouldn't mind having an accent like that.

In general, it's pretty charming. But some people sound snooty too.

I think they are fine. It makes most British folks sound very educated and polite.

However, there is one accent that is almost impossible for me to understand. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the accent. I bought some DVDs by a hypnotist named Jonathan Royle. His accent was so "strong" and he spoke so fast, it drove me crazy. I could barely understand a word he was saying. If you know what accent I am referring to, please send me a quick email and let me know.
