  1. Are you kidding, he was a fantastic president!

  2. He was not a liberal.  If he was around today they would call he a blue dog democrats.  Infact if he was around today the party would probable not have him as one of there leaders.

  3. He had balls. Seriously, he stepped up Vietnam involvement. He was a war hero like McCain. He was tough and got us through the Cuban Missile Crisis.

    He really wasn't that liberal.

  4. He was an old-style Democrat and can't be labled with the modern term of "liberal".  He did, however, almost get the civilized world blown to radioactive bits.

  5. JFK was a Democrat, but he was not a liberal. In the early '60s Democrats tended to be more conservative, especially compared to politicians of today. Not that I am a right winger, but I think he was a good president who set a new direction for America. He understood how to unite the country to bring about solutions. JFK is so noteworthy because we think of him as a monumental president, but he was only in office for about 2 and a half years. He made good use of his time. It really is too bad that it was cut short. History could have turned out very differently.

  6. The Republicans and sound non-party individuals  believe he was a womanizing idiot who managed to get himself killed.

  7. Lets see:

    Started the Vietnam war.

Almost started a nuclear war with the Soviet Union.

    Various s*x and corruption scandals.

The legend about the man is based on his being assassinated - not on what he actually did.

  8. k ller
