  1. Short of making paid promotion of dangerous drugs illegal, pharmacoms should at least be required to read the list of possible side-effects three times: once at the beginning of the ad, once in the middle, and once at the end.

    I particularly get a chuckle when they casually mention, "Oh by the way, taking this drug could lead to death." Not in so many words, of course. But that particular "side-effect" should be up there in giant, bold-faced neon letters.

    Let us be real about this. The pharmacoms are trying to get some of your money for their drug, but they don't want to get sued if their drug happens to affect you in some unpleasant way, for instance by death. Those side-effect warnings aren't put up there because they care about you. They are a disclaimer.
