What do Brits living in America miss about the UK?

I want to send a few bits and pieces to a friend who is currently living in California and was wondering if there was anything British that she might be missing over there. I know American chocolate is awful but anything apart from that? I don't just want to send a huge dairy milk! Cheers!

  1. marmite, baked beans, dairy milk (yes they sell it in US, but it's not quite the same), typhoo / pg tea, crisps, chocolate hobnobs.....these are the things our English friends ask for when we visit them in US :-)

  2. American chocolate is awful?  Geez I've never heard that in all my years of travel.  Actually most people complain they gain weight when they visit because the food is so good and so diverse over here.  Unless they miss rain, damp and fog I would think the only thing they would miss over here is you and family.

  3. Ye I like english chocolate nicer, and crisps. Send her some rain

  4. oops, sorry i didn't read it properly.

    THE CRISPS!

send her wheat crunchies, hula hoops, walkers, everything!

  5. they sell dairy milks in america

    but

i find it harder to find cadbury flakes

also they probably miss the 5th of november
