Yes he is an idiot for what he did,but I think let him play....it has nothing to do with footy.

Punish him by humiliating him,,,,for example,get him to wash that window and film him at it.

he is setting a bad example again for the players coming into the club, he is a joke, a big headed joke.

its not just this its every thing he does wrong, speeding in school zones,etc, he just thinks he is above the general population.

I'd say miss to weeks and decide if you really want to play at this club, and the fool put his hand up for captaincy, yeah good joke fev.

The are no excuses for his behaviour, he is an idiot, and should rightly be fined or punished in some way, but it is not a football issue therefore it should have no impact on his availability to play.  It is important not to get two separate and non-related issues confused  So, to answer your question, YES he should play, and NO there are no excuses for him.
