  1. Those that Yahshua called a genaration of vibers ,killed him. Their ancesters are ruling the country of Israel today.

  2. As Holy Scripture testifies, Jerusalem did not recognize the time of her visitation,(9) nor did the Jews in large number, accept the Gospel; indeed not a few opposed its spreading.(10) Nevertheless, God holds the Jews most dear for the sake of their Fathers; He does not repent of the gifts He makes or of the calls He issues-such is the witness of the Apostle.(11) In company with the Prophets and the same Apostle, the Church awaits that day, known to God alone, on which all peoples will address the Lord in a single voice and "serve him shoulder to shoulder" (Soph. 3:9).(12)

Since the spiritual patrimony common to Christians and Jews is thus so great, this sacred synod wants to foster and recommend that mutual understanding and respect which is the fruit, above all, of biblical and theological studies as well as of fraternal dialogues.

True, the Jewish authorities and those who followed their lead pressed for the death of Christ;(13) still, what happened in His passion cannot be charged against all the Jews, without distinction, then alive, nor against the Jews of today. Although the Church is the new people of God, the Jews should not be presented as rejected or accursed by God, as if this followed from the Holy Scriptures. All should see to it, then, that in catechetical work or in the preaching of the word of God they do not teach anything that does not conform to the truth of the Gospel and the spirit of Christ.

Furthermore, in her rejection of every persecution against any man, the Church, mindful of the patrimony she shares with the Jews and moved not by political reasons but by the Gospel's spiritual love, decries hatred, persecutions, displays of anti-Semitism, directed against Jews at any time and by anyone.

Besides, as the Church has always held and holds now, Christ underwent His passion and death freely, because of the sins of men and out of infinite love, in order that all may reach salvation. It is, therefore, the burden of the Church's preaching to proclaim the cross of Christ as the sign of God's all-embracing love and as the fountain from which every grace flows.

    9. Cf. Lk. 19:44

    10. Cf. Rom. 11:28

    11. Cf. Rom. 11:28-29; cf. dogmatic Constitution, Lumen Gentium (Light of nations) AAS, 57 (1965) pag. 20

    12. Cf. Is. 66:23; Ps. 65:4; Rom. 11:11-32

    13. Cf. John. 19:6

  3. It's very inconvenient for Part A of your religion to not believe that Part B fits, which is the half you happen to worship.

Since they came first, they probably know it better, but if you still believe in Part B you have to believe they're wrong.

  4. The Bible says that ALL have sinned and gone astray. There are none who are righteous ~ no not one.

I think that what you might be referring to is the fact that Christians believe that Jesus is the messiah, and the Jews don't.

  5. I have never heard this expression, but I assume it means that they did not accept that Jesus was the one prophesied as the Messiah in the scripture.

  6. By "Christians" you mean the Paulists who follow the teachings of Saul of Tarsus, a Roman creation [who declared "I'm a Roman citizen" every time he got in hot water!]

Historically, Jesus didn't become the son of God until about the fourth century (A.D.), and since most of that history is locked up in the Vatican, there's no way of telling WHAT the original teachings of Jesus was...we're left with the REVISED version.

The Jews, on the other hand...have been following the same teachings for three thousand years MORE than Christianity---so to say THEY turned their backs on God RE: JC is an arrogance borne of ignorance!

  7. They mean that the Israelites denied that Jesus was the Messiah

  8. It shows how dishonest and bigoted is Christianity...  In fact they preach that the 2nd coming of Jesus is to make himself King of the Jews!

There are no prophesies whatsoever in the Old Testament about any 2nd coming!  Jesus was telling some of the Jews that he was setting up a kingdom of some sort in their own lifetime, but they all died and he NEVER accomplish that.

Mat 16:28  I tell you the truth* (*duck!), some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."

But to some other Jews he told them that nobody, but nobody including himself knows when God will send him back to be their King!  Caesar God was a God King. God the Son Jesus Christ was the alleged God, too King of the Jews. The day of the 2nd coming to be their King will come as a total surprise even to Jesus!

Mark 13:32 (Jesus said) No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, NOR THE SON, but only the Father.

The Eastern soothsayers came to visit the "Newborn King of the Jews"… The last question that the Jews asked Jesus was about his promised kingdom (Acts 1:6-7). Jesus told them to never mind!

The Jews were never delivered from the Romans, but they were almost exterminated.  The Jews wised up and dropped Jesus very quickly.  For Christians it may take a little longer.  Each person has his/her own degree of gullibility.

No fault of the Jews. They really wanted to make Jesus their king by force, but Jesus chickened out!  Very few Christians want the world to know this fact! The Clergy want the world to keep believing that the Jews ALWAYS rejected Jesus, but that only happened after they wised up!

John 6:15 (NIV) Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself.

The last time that he came to Jerusalem (Palm Sunday) he made all the Jews to believe that he was going to become their King right then and there, but he was teasing them! (Remember that we are dealing here with the fantasies written by the Bible writers)

John 12:13They* (*big crowds of Jews) took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, "Hosanna!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Blessed is the King of Israel!"

But Jesus had no intension to become anybody’s king! He also told Pontius Pilate that his kingdom was not of this world! So much for the "Newborn King of the Jews!" Pilate had to put a sign on top of the cross to remind everybody about the recanted "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews".

Christians ALWAYS accuse the Jews for rejecting Jesus!  Hardly any preacher ever mentions the fact that the Jews really wanted to make Jesus king by force. Throughout history a lot of Jews lost their life because of this accusation!

The idea of a 2nd coming is what guarantees Christianity a long lasting life raking billions of dollars and laughing all the way to the bank!!!

  9. They say EVERYBODY who isn't Christian has turned their back on god. Not just the Jews.

  10. According to islam - certain jewish people rejected God's Messengers while killing others (i.e. John the Baptist, and Zakariah) aswell as accusing Mary of adultery.

So they rejected God's Messengers, killed some, and accused chaste women of evil deeds - which caused God to be displeased with them.

However, those who followed the Messengers (without picking some and rejecting others) and followed the true guidance are guided, and it may be that God is pleased with them. :)

  11. Well. Pilate gave the Jews the chance to free Jesus but they duidn't.But if they had God's word would not have been revealed. So they actually helped God. But then so did Judas!!!!

  12. It means the Jews were right all along, Some how the Christians thought they could willfully attack Jews anytime they wanted.
