Nice Dutch programs but also almost every available American - and many English programs are imported...

check the major channels sbs.nl, rtl.nl and omroep.nl

What do the Germans, English, Belgians, Americans & Austrialians watch on tv - basically there is not much difference in my experience

Sports, movies, soaps, documenaries, news.... just the regular things

I guess the only noteworthy thing to a foreigner watching Dutch tv (as opposed to e.g. Germany and France) is that when importing series/movies etc from the US and UK that the original language (English in this case) is retained with the orginal voices, and merely subtitled below.

The watch a LOT of English Language TV... Most of the Dutch people can speak better ENGLISH than AmeriKans can talk AmeriKan.
