Lots and lots of computers (Filipinos love to play in groups. And I mean HUGE groups).

A friend of mine works at one and, according to her, customers usually come in for various hardware or software more often than a whole computer. Lately there's been a trend in purchasing laptops more than the console-type personal computers and overall customers just buying things for maintenance of computers they already own. Most salable items are usually involved in storage--USBs, hard drives, CDs or DVDs, etc.

If you're referring to computer shops as in the internet café type then overall it's fast, fast internet and affordable rates per hour. If you're putting one up in the suburbs or residential areas expect a lot of young customers (high school) who will likely play online games as a group. If you're putting one up in a university area or anywhere else expect customers to need software less game-oriented and more work/school-related. Accessibility and convenient store hours (roughly 12 hours minimum for 6-7 days) are also a plus.
