What do Female Marines bring with them to Paris Island for training??

I am looking into joining the marines, and my borfirend is in the marines already, so i was looking all the information that was giving to him ....all the technicall stuff that say exaxctlly what where when who and why....and one thing iread is confusing me:

it said that the female recruites have to bring like 3 sports bras and some underwears....but im hearing from some ppl that they issue everything to you when you get there.....

sooo if any female marines that have already been through basic could help me out on this one.

do you get to bring your own stuff??

Uniforms will be issued

boots

tennis shoes

Belt

Bring under-wear / sports bras

You will be given a list from your recruiter

you can bring a few things but you really don't need to because you'll still get issued everything anyway... I didn't take anything but my ID and the clothes on my back... everything that I needed was provided for me

Marine Corps

Marine Corps recruiters are very straightforward, here is what they say you HAVE to HAVE:

    * Driver’s license or Picture ID

    * $20 (approximately)

    * The clothes on your back

The recruiter said everything else is taken care of prior to shipping to basic training.

When you enlist, you will get a guide on what to bring to basic training and how to prep for it. You will have to bring your own bras/underwear. You can also bring a bible, stationary, etc.

Bring about one change of clothes (tops) and about 3 days worth of underwear and toiletries for an overnight stay.  They will give you a pay advance so you can purchase whatever else you need.

get plain white bikini or brief full panties

thongs and skimpy panties are a no no

call a recruiter they will give all the info you need
