My fry were born yesterday into a Breeder tank but i don't know what they eat or How much they need to eat? I know they need to stay in the Breeder tank for about 3-4 weeks, will they need anything else besides food to thrive?

  1. Hikari small bites is the best for them. It's preserved with vitamins instead of ethoxoquin which is better for them. Try not to feed flake food 'cause it's preserved with ethoxoquin. Egg yolk is good for them too.

  2. For the first 2-3 days they don't eat at all, because they still have the egg sac attached. For the next few weeks, just crush up flake food into really small pieces. They'll eat that.

  3. tetramin(baby)food it is grounded power feed them 2-4 times a day they need to stay in the breeder tank until they are big enough not to fit into the other fishes mouths once they are couple weeks old also give them 1 flake crushed up in the breeder tank i have done this method for 20 years and i have 50 babies at the moment and more on the way

hope this helps u out and good luck :)
