  1. Isn't there an 'other' or a 'prefer not to answer' box?

I would make an seperate box at the bottom and write: mixed.

    Or check all of them.

  2. it should be "mixed"

  3. I would mark all three.

  4. mark white and black Y not :)

  5. mark whatever the daddy is

  6. well i think you should do what you think is best.

    :D

  7. I would just make your own space and write in "human" for the race.  I have bi-racial children (white and mexican) and I always check both of them, even if it only says check one.  Besides, the daycare staff will only need this information in case they have to report to a state agency about race related questions in order to get grants of funding.

I don't even think State Liscensing officials even care about it, i've never seen a daycare getting written up for having imcomplete paperwork as far as what race your child is.

I listed my children as Hispanic, even though mine AND my husbands says we are white (even though he's hispanic but they got  his birth cert wrong) becasue we're thinking long term, as knowing how sometimes minorities could be eligible for scholarships, etc, just due to the classification of their race.

Just decide how YOU are going to mark your child, since this is something that you will have to deal with repeatedly.

  8. I have mxed children black and white....I have not run across this need yet, but I would mark either all three in your case, or other!

*other is not a bad thing just means he is unique!
