What do I bring on an airplane for 5 and a half hours?

I am going to Cape Cod with the fam and do not know what to bring. I already have a book but dout that will be enough. Please Help!!!

Your ipod, and book should be more than enough. Especially if you can manage to fall asleep using your ipod. But some other items can work too. such as: portable dvd player, and best of all a laptop

That really depends on what you have

yes books come in handy, but you will probably get sick of that after a while.

Try a CD player, or an ipod. if you go with either one of those things then make sure you bring extra batteries!

if you don't have either of those, you can always try a book of sudoku, or some other puzzle books. That can keep me entertained for hours!

Hand held video Games (PSP, Nintendo DS)

Books

Paper and pen to write or draw

Dry erase boards are fun to draw

Sudoko

Crosswords

Word Search

Camera (taking goofy pictures with family :)

Beads to make jewlery

Laptop (Play games or type)

Pillow to try and sleep.

Don't bring an ipod, thats very bad for your hearing. Because of the noise from the airplane engine and other stuff you turn the volume up, and thats not good for your ears. Here's what you should bring:

-Magazine

-food!

-crossword puzzle or other word games

i always bring a lap blanket because i get cold on planes allll the time, and if im not cold-instant pillow! i also go to walmart or cvs and grab a variety puzzle book, its like 2 bucks but it has crosswords and such. a good book is a must, and a notebook so you can look busy if youre seated next to chatty cathy! i also have a laptop idbring to watch movies

p.s.- only buy snacks after you get through the security. they will claim anything is liquid these days.
