What do I bring to the first day of freshman year in high school?

A bag [backpack, tote, etc], a few pens/pencils/writing utensils, a planner [teachers usually have you take home forms to sign, so just jot it down so you don't forget], a lunch [if you need it], etc. You really don't need much for the first day. Teachers won't give you too much on the first day, so don't worry :).

Oh yeah. Don't lose your schedule.

i'm a freshmen and school starts tomoro...we have an orientation in the begininng but after that we have periods 1-3 cuz our classes r like college i'm gonna bring a binder w/ paper, and notebooks for my 3 classes just in case i need to write something down, pencils, pens, and folders for any kind of forms. oh also PE clothes and my lock for my locker

just paper and something to write with in some classes you might not need it because the teachers wont shut up all day, but in others you might need to write what the teachers want you to buy or anything you might need to remember

so don't bother wasting you money before the first week of school its better to waite in most cases things don't begin until the second day of school unless your in advanced classes like me those crazy teachers start teaching you the second day of school

for the first day, i think it is just a orientation program for high school freshmen. so i suggest that u only bring a small bag with pen & a piece of notebook. that will take care of everything for the first day!

Great attitude, sunny smile, money for lunch, two #2 pencils, at least one pen, notebook (with perforated paper, college rule), couple of folders for handouts. OR~~~a nice binder w/all that stuff in it.  PLUS a little notebook to use as a mini diary!!!

If it were me all over again, I'd bring a digital camera too.
