What do I buy my girlfriend's mother?

Ok, I'm 31 years old, and am dating a beautiful woman of 41. We have been dating for a little over two months now, and have told each other we love each other. Her mother has a birthday coming up this Friday, and will be 65 years old. I have met her mother once, and she likes me which is always a good thing. Anyway, I want to get her something for her birthday,but I don't know what to get. I mean, what do you get a 65 year old black woman who is the mother of your girlfriend? Any suggestions?

A vase of flowers is always nice. Idk anything else. Don't really know too many old peoples.
