What do I dail before 044-664-199-**** in order to call a Mexican Cell phone?? I have an emergency.?

My husband is in Tijuana, and has a mexican cell phone and I urgently need to reach him. I dialed 011- 52- 044- 664-199-**** and it will not go through, what am I doing wrong???? HELP

Instead of 044 try with 045. This is what you have to dial when you´re not calling a local cell phone. If u were also in Tijuana then you would have to use the 044.

My husband is also from mexico, but he's here in NY with me! He calls his family often though, and he buys a mexico phone card b/c we do not have a home phone, just cell phones. He could dial the number a million times before it goes through. I have no idea why. Just keep trying, it should work eventually!
