Okay, I like this guy. He smiles at me, or looks away really fast when I look at him. He stares at me. smiles when talking to me, and a 3 year old put our hands together and said we should get married (dont ask) the problem is Im 14, he's 17. Is there anything the matter with that? I want to tell him I like him!

Well, he is older than you and that sucks, however it is still legal, but how do your parents feel about him?  If they like him and he did just turn 17 so he has a year before he turns 18.  I would seriously have to know the guy for my daughter to even consider it, but be careful, he could be way more mature than you and want you to do things that a 14 year old girl shouldn't be doing.  Be careful hun and good luck.  BTW, you can't control your feelings and if you want to tell him you like him then tell him, I mean if you had told him in April he would have been 16 and there would be no question that it isn't a big deal!!  Good luck!

At 17, his hormones are going crazy and his body is telling him to do things that his brain is telling him no.  Having said that, in one more year, you will be "jail bait"... aka... he can't have intimate relations with you because he could go to jail if your parents find out.  For those reasons alone, it would not be a good idea to date each other at this time. Give it a few years.  Once you are 18, go for it.

personally i dont see that 3 years is a big age difference, the thing you may want to look into is what your state laws may be regarding once he turns 18 and you only 15

Yes. He is too old for you. He shouldn't be having a crush on a 14 year old. Look for someone closer to your age. I can pretty much guarantee your parents aren't going to like it.

well right now three years is a bigg age differencee. but when ur both in ur twenties say he will be 25 and you wil be 22 but when ur 15 he will be 18. so yeah that is kinda wrong but okay at the same time. i would maninly dat ur age and maybe a year older

i dont see anything wrong with that... my parents are 7 years apart and my best friends parents are 11 years apart... i really dont see the problem with that... 3 years is not the much of a diffrence if you really like that person... trust me... ive been there...
