What do I do? Is this normal

I just moved into my first apartment with my fiancee. We've lived here for two weeks. It looks very very messy. We have boxes all over the place. On top of that, we're living there, so the mess is adding to it. I clean up the messes that we do make, but I feel crappy because my surroundings are so messy. I'm going to try the best I can to organize everything. For one thing, the TV is on my vanity (because we can't afford new furniture right now.) Is this a normal occurrence? When people move out for the first time, does their apartment normally look like that for a while? Thanks for your comments.

Unless your parents are rich or you have been saving for a while.....yes!
