What do I do? My brother-in-law pooped in my yard!?

So my brother in law came for a visit along with some other family and we were all inside drinking having a good time. I don't allow smoking in my house so everyone was going outside. I walked out the door and my brother in law was coming out from the side of the house with a weird look on his face. It caught me off guard as kind of weird so I walked to the side of my house and there was a fresh pile of poo! He is staying with us for a week and I just want to tell someone what happened! What do I do?

Ask your brother why he pooped in your yard, and I think that is kind of illegal, maybe.

It was so bizarre that you can afford to be just very matter-of-fact about it.  There is no conceivable ettiquette for the situation.  So just say, "Hey, (name), clean up your p**p from the yard.  We shouldn't have to step in it."  You can say it with a casual smile, as if you're teasing him for doing something stupid with a girl.  He'll be (rightfully) embarrassed and hopefully never do that again.  Bizarre.

Clean it up.  Then next time he visits have an old toilet and some paper out there as a joke.
