She had a baby last sept. The dad said he was'nt the father thru the whole pregnancy.. I spent the 9 mo's heplin her thru it and taking care of the baby day and night. she had a c-section. 3WKS AFTER HE WAS BORN MY DAUGHTER RAN INTO THE DAD AT THE STORE. fROM THERE EVERYTHING WENT DOWN hill. She started takin off for 2-3 days and not call or check on the baby. I had him. She want to go spend the night with all the time and again I had the baby. She pushed him off on me even when she was home.She moved in with him and he beat her. I saw the bruises and a really bad black eye,He called the baby a little bas, And other nasty names. finally she left him and went back. I called the hot line for child abuse/neglect bescause she took him back to a man that beats her and calls the baby names. They said it was neglect/harm.So she left him again he wouldn't stop drinking and gettin drunk and mean in front of the baby.The child services Told me to let her know if she took the baby back again they would put him in foster care. Well she's gone again and I reported her again. She stared yelling at me again and said this was all my fault and my BS thats causeing it. I slapped her. She brought the cops to my home they made me give her the baby and wanted to charge me for assault on her word. I told her I was going to fight for the baby since I was the one who took care of him even when she was home. And that I will protect him from his dad one way or another.She just told me the day she left she was goin to start spankin him to make him mind he's 11 mo now. And I know when he fights sleep she rocks him and starts pattin his butt harder if he don't go to sleep. She also makes him go back to sleep in the mornin cause she's not ready to get up. She wont help clean house or cook. I want to fight for temporary custody and can]t afford a lawyer. What do I do.I'm afraid he will hit the baby to,he abuses women, alchol,drugs.Thats where his ssi check goes.
