  1. Don't worry, it isn't hard at all!! You will make it just fine! Be nice and it will be no problem to make friends especially if it is a big school!

  2. me 2...i transferred to a private school for high school.. so i just am telling you to keep you chin up be friendly and stay on top of grades youll find it alot more easy....GOOD LUCK!!!

  3. have all the fun you can and get good grades.

stay away from all that bad stuff and dont stress over drama that comes your way.

the work can be very hard but if you study and listen to your teachers you should do ok 4 the next 4 years

  4. Ah, High School.  Good times.  My advice is to figure out what you are interested in and take classes and join clubs that reflect that. Joining clubs really will help you make friends.  I know that this is pretty typical advice, but from my experience it really made high school bearable.  Also, pick up a sport. If you are already great at one, do that, but some sports like track and tennis are pretty easy to pick up.  My last nugget of wisdom is to find out what classes allow you to go on tour-  usually music classes, but there are many.  My favorite part of high school was our week long trip to Seattle.  It was a blast. The best of luck to you.

  5. It's not that hard.I probaly studied for about 6 tests my whole high school carreer and graduated with a 3.1. You just gotta be somewhat nice, study every now and then, and try not to start ****. Try to make friends with smart people too, that's always good.

  6. just remember 99 percent of the people in the world are very insecure possibly even more than you. even the star football player who may seem like he's got it all together is just a human being with fears and emotions just like everyone else. most people go through life (even after high school) without realizing this so they think their life is the crappiest in the world and nobody could possibly understand.

I don't know how insecure you are so I'm not sure if you'll relate. but I'm just saying this to encourage you to meet new people. nobody is above or beneath you, we're all just people. just be genuine and positive and you'll be surprised how many people will like you.

regarding the work, just do your best.

    nothing more, nothing less.

in other words, don't be lazy but also don't get all super stressed.

if you think you can take harder classes, give it a shot. but be prepared for the extra responsibility.

your teachers and counselors are there to help. they'll have tips, tricks and tools available to help you if you need help organizing all your responsibilities.

the main trick to getting good grades is doing your assignments. getting decent scores on your tests doesn't hurt either.

for example, when it comes to history I'm much better than my ex-girlfriend but I got d's and she got a's because I was super lazy and never did the work.

it's usually not too much work it's just a matter of sitting down and getting it done. you'll usually find that once it's done it actually wasn't that much or that hard. (maybe with the exception of big projects, they can be pretty stressful. but you don't get them that often anyways.)

just remember, highschool is free school (assuming you're going to a public school). if you don't learn it while you're in highschool then you'll have to pay to learn it in college. and you won't get credits for doing high school level classes. and also the farther ahead you get in high school the farther ahead you can start in college meaning you don't have to pay for the classes that you skip. for example i had to start in math 101 in college but because my ex-girlfriend got up to Trig in high-school she started at like math 106 in college. which means she saved a butt-load of money because she didn't have to pay for math 101-105. so sometimes you might feel like you're being forced to go to school but actually you should consider it as a VERY generous handout from the taxpayers of your state.

  7. make freinds with the stonner group. stonner groups are always fun

  8. the work is a little tuff yea but if u study and want 2 pass u can

  9. Any new experience is going to be nerve racking. Just be yourself. Don't try too hard to impress people. Don't be too shy either. Smile and say hi to people. High school is hard, but it can be fun too. Get to know people, and if you need to, ask for help. If you find the work too hard and don't ask for help, you will fall further and further behind. Look at it as a new experience, in a new environment and roll with it. Get involved and have fun!

  10. Everyone is nervous going into their freshman year of high school. High school isn't always hard, don't believe whoever is telling you that. High school can be a lot of fun. Since you said no one you know will be going to this high school my advice to you is to just be yourself and make new friends. There will be plenty of other kids going there that are in the same situation as you, you aren't alone. Have fun, get involved with extracurricular activities such as sports, drama club, choir, FFA, whatever interest you. Be sure to pay attention in class and keep yourself out of trouble, the dean's office is not somewhere you want to be. Try to relax, we have all gone through it and survived. Good luck!

  11. 1 Highschool is not that scary

the thing you learn Math, English ,Scoial Studies,Science, physical education just get a tiny bit harder.

    2. just be yourself you will find lots of new friends who

    like you as your self.

  12. Good question. Today, emotional intelligence, is considered the most important skill or ability to have. You need to know how to get along with people. I suggest you keep quiet and observe how things go in your school. Everyone in your group is going through the same experience. Other advice: Organize your study habits, attend all classes, do the homework and ask questions.

  13. Don't worry about it! Everyone there will be in the same situation, you'll have no problem making friends.

  14. don't stress it will be fun and it isn't as tough as some people make it seem. do you work and make friends.

  15. Yes. Relax, pay attention, and be friendly. This is all you have to do to be successful in high school. Be yourself and learn as much as you can. Don't get too caught up in what other people think of you, live the way you want to.

High School is very easy compared to the rest of your life (college, job, marriage, etc...) you should try to enjoy it. Participate in some sports or extracurricular activities. Try to keep your grades up and learn as much as you can because college is a blast. If you keep your grades up you can go to a great college, get a good education, and make a lot of friends.

Good Luck - I wish you the best.

  16. Be confident when you walk through the doors. Dont worry about what other people think about you. When you go to your classes sit by people that look like they might be entertaining to you. Dont be shy and communicate with your classmates. Have fun Hope this helps

  17. Don't be nervous.......stay calm..IF you do what you did,,,you will get what you got.

most important of all..mix with the right crowd. It could determine how your high school years will be forever

  18. Be yourself.

Seriously, you may not know who you are yet and high school can help you figure it out however just a heads up, the average person in high school was not so popular. Expect to get made fun of and you will probably do the same to others. It's definitely a learning experience but one that I will never forget. :)

  19. Its not as hard as you think. It can be overwhelming, especially at a big school where you don't know anyone, but its not as bad as you're expecting it to be. Middle school prepares you for high school, so you should be fine as far as classes. You may get more homework but as long as you pay attention and do the work you won't have a problem.

The people in high school aren't that scary either. Ask the person sitting next to you to borrow a pencil, or where they got their outfit, and start a conversation. You'll have friends before you know it.

    Good luck!

  20. Don't be nervous. Just kick some kids butt the first day and everyone will think you are cool. jk.

Just be yourself and study hard. You will make friends soon enough.
