What do I do about my IO?

I have io HD DVR, the one that lets you recard and rewind, stop, and pause live tv its great I have had it for a year now and suddenly it has probloms. Exp when ever I press the DVR button its says unrecoverble write error. And it sucks cause I also can not pause, rewind, and stop so how do I fix it without making the trip to cablevision?

I would call iO and get them to replace your HD DVR, it sounds like the problem lies with the hard drive.
