I accidentally paid $00.38 over my account balance with my debit card and now I'm negative $-00.38. What's going to happen? I get my paycheck in a couple days so when I deposit that check, will everything go back to normal or do I have to pay a fee or something?

  1. if it happened recently, like monday and you get paid friday, it's no big deal really, they'll take the 38 cents from your check and you should be fine

  2. Actually it depends on the bank you have, I one got a charge for $32.00 for just going 2 cents negative and worst of all my bank charges per day you are negative doesn't matter if its 1 cent they still charge u. If I was you I'd contact my bank and find out fast before you get charged a large amount of money just for overdrafting 38 cents.

  3. well, it will depend on the bank that you are with, or whether or not you have overdraft protection. if you do not have overdraft protection, they will probaly charge you an overdraft fee whichn is usually $30, you will deposit your check adn they will deduct it from there.however, if you have overdraft protection theyu wont charge you anything they will just take the .38 cents out of the amount that you deposit.
