What do I do about my dad and his girlfriend?

Please take the time to read all this. By the way I am 13.

My parents got a divorce about 2 years ago. Me and my dad were best friends until he started going out with this girl about 3 months ago. He put our house for sale 4 days ago because he said him and his girlfriend are going to get married. He hasn’t asked her yet but when the house sells he will. They have already talked about this and are in agreement. They looked at houses together yesterday in the city she lives in because her son going to public school and me and my brother go to privet school. Another problem is that she has a dog and we have 5 cats. My brother, my dad’s girlfriend’s son and I do not want them to get married yet. We all do not care if they are dating but think it is too soon for them to get married. I have talked to him about this many times and last night I said when they get married I am going to live with mom. He just said you are just going to make this hard on me. I really do not want to move out cause I love my dad but I do not like his girlfriend.

Please tell me what to do.

your dad is your dad and if he found happiness maybe you just have to accept it. but, if you guys are best friends he will consider your opinion when he makes the actual choice you know. i dont know if i helped but i tried

sit down wit ur dad and all the kids who dont want them to get married. then you will all chit chat about why u dont want them to get married, and how u feel, and u can also say how she should have a say in this because its ur life too. maybe ur dad will rethink this for awhile and then later you will come in wit an agreement. (:

This is a hard one, it sounds like your dad is giving up a lot of what means a lot to you, but you have to remember that he has his heart set on this woman and he deserves to be happy.
