  1. Which is saying no signal, the receiver or tv? I'd have to think if it's a blue screen then it's your tv giving this message. Something you can try is hit the menu button on your sat. receiver remote. If you don't see any change in the screen, then you know you have a bad connection between the receiver & tv, probably a bad cable,or wrong input selected on the tv. If your menu from the receiver does come up, then check your signal strength. This will indicate a problem in your dish alignment or cable, LNB, etc.

  2. Could be a number of things.

    1. check the dish cable is in the back of the box properly.

    2. check the dish is pointed in the right direction IE not down to the ground.

    3. check the cable has not split open or damaged.

    4. take all cards out and turn off at the plug for 30 sec then replace card and power back on and wait another 30 sec.

    5. without knowing more info it's hard to tell really.

    best of luck.

  3. It sounds like your dish got moved and that's probably why you lost your signal. Someone will have to go up to wherever your dish is mounted and move the dish back and forth until you get your signal back to a high %, or if you are having a storm, that could be the main reason for no signal being received.
