What do I do about this complicated boy?

I have pretty much been in love with him for a year and a half. He started refering to me as his "little sister" awhile ago but recently, I couldn't stand that anymore. So I texted to him (bad choice but it was on impulse) that i was in love with him and all this stuff. And i emailed him this afternoon and we talked on aim tonight. He was telling me stuff about how he doesn't date young girls because of all this stuff he listed. But he knows Im different. He knows Im not liek that. And then he just said goobye before we could talk about everything. What do I do and how do I fix this? I feel like im loosing my best friend and the boy im in love with at the same time! Usually when soemthign upsets me i call him and he helps me through it. But i cant do that this time! I sent him an email asking if he would talk to me tommorow and meet me somewhere, but he probably wont. What do I do?! What do I tell him?! I feel like he isn't telling me the truth about something...

Oh he's telling you the truth. Believe it.

It's the cold hard painful truth.

There is no fix. He was up front with you

and most men aren't, so respect his

personal space.

Don't pester him about this anymore.

It makes you look desperate & pathetic.

Given space & time you two will have

your old 'friendship' (not relationship)

back someday.

For now just let it go.

There is someone wonderful out there

for you. And if you waste your time and

energy with the one it will never work out

with...you may pass over or miss out on

the one whom it will work out with.

Life is so hard sometimes.

And growing up is even harder.

But you will come through this just fine.
